Spring Equinox
When everything in Nature wears its fuck on its face!
This Thursday (March 20), is the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. It kicks off half a year of longer days — the “Light Seasons” or the “Light Half” — when days are longer than nights for the first time in 6 months.
For thousands of years, the Spring Equinox was observed by all of our ancestors as one of the most important days of the year. It's the day we shift out of darkness and back into the light.
In the Northern Hemisphere, the Spring Equniox takes place when warmth, light, and life return to Nature. Everything and everyone in Nature is emerging above ground with sprouts and buds at this time. Everything and everyone in Nature is awake, active, and moving outward this time of year. So, traditionally, Spring Equinox was observed as the beginning of a season when humans would follow suit. Just as the sprouted seeds find the bravery to face the discomfort and unknown of emerging above ground (even if feeling scared and small), so do all of our souls awaken, sprout, and emerge into spiritual heights to grow and blossom into the fullness of our lives.
The Spring Equinox ushers in a season of light my ancestors called Ostara. The Spring invites us to step out of the shadows we've been hiding in and to allow the fullness of our own inner light to be witnessed. All our dreaming and preparing turns into blooming and blossoming.
The archetypes of the divine feminine and divine masculine associated with this season of Ostara are: the Inner Enchantress and the Inner Lover. These are the parts of us who know how to do self-expression and how to take action. They let themselves access the power of their own sexuality and move that power through their bodies. They can remind us how to get into action, how to experience pleasure in the body, and how to express that pleasure through the body.
This season is about accessing your sexual power, which is also the source of your self-expression, and it's also about making big moves in the world. How would your life change if you weren't afraid to wear your fuck on your face? What would happen if you were no longer afraid to fuck the world wide open?
In the Ostara course in Soul Revolution, you're invited to do the inner work in a group container rather than trying to do it alone.
In this course, starting March 20, I'll engage your mind by teaching you about the inner Enchantress and inner Lover archetypes within you. I'll open your heart by guiding you in a meditation that allows you to channel a message from your own inner Enchantress and Lover. And I'll invite your body to embody your inner Enchantress or Lover by setting intentions for the season. These intentions will become your initiation — your challenge — for integrating this divine aspect of your soul into your life more fully.
You won't do this alone. You'll be able to share in a group with fellow travelers who are on the same journey. The course also includes weekly live calls and a one on one integration session with me.
